Once your phone is on, access the phone's dialer. Every mobile phone, regardless of its make or model, has a dialer app where you input numbers. In the dialer, you will use a specific USSD code provided by Econet to find your phone number. The common USSD code for checking your Econet phone number is *111#.

Step 3: Dial the USSD Code to Access Self-Care Menu

With your phone’s dialer open, type in *111# and then press the call button. This action will initiate a request to the Econet Self-Care and, in a few seconds, a menu should appear on your screen. This is Self-Care, which provides various services, including Account, Transfer airtime, Puk Retrieval, Sim Replacement, Report Network Challenges, and more importantly for us, revealing your phone number.

Upon accessing the Self-Care Menu, you should see several options. Navigate to 0. More Options. The specifics of this step might slightly differ based on updates to the Econet menu system

Step 5: Select 9. Display My Number

Once in the More Options section, look for an option that says Display My Number. Select this option. Some menu systems may require you to reply with the corresponding number or letter for the selection but for this, it's a number and you Select 9. After making your selection, you will be asked to enter your 111 PIN but am sure you don't remember it which is ok if you do remember your PIN just put it in and your phone number should be displayed on the screen.

Enter OTP After you see Enter the OTP sent to your phone then put in the opt they sent to you in your messages then you will see Enter the PIN of your choice then put in any PIN you want that you will remember to make sure it's not more than 4 digits then confirm Pin now make sure you keep that pin any time you want to Display your Number or check your econet sim card phone number that's the pin you will use
